Well folks, here we go again. We are traveling westward in our newly purchased 2014 Winnebago View Profile, which we named Allspice. We have had a few trial runs over the course of this past summer and are now ready to go into our winter avoidance scheme. We have been loading up the RV as we prepare to spend the next 5 or so months living aboard.
Its a little different preparing an RV compared to our boat. On the boat you had to carry just about everything you could need. The RV meanwhile is easier because you can drive to the store just about anytime you want. We don't have to carry anywhere near the amount of food because there will be plenty of stores and gas stations along the way.
We haven't decided on a route yet but it will most likely involve heading south as fast as we can. Of course there is a storm predicted for the weekend. Hopefully we'll be able to drive out of it. It will however be cold. Right now we are seeing temps here in VT in the 20's at night. I have taken all of the water out of the RV so it won't freeze. Don't worry too much it comes with a furnace and and heat pump. We should be warm enough. At least I won't have to crank up the refrig.
We have a couple of more days to prep and then away we go on another adventure. I hope you all stay and follow along to see what kind of fools we can make of ourselves. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
