Skiing
1/17- Paradise CA
The girls all headed out into the predawn mist to ride up to Mount Shasta. Mt Shasta is a 14000 ft mountain that is a volcano. It just sticks right up out of the surrounding foothills. The ski area is located on the southeast slope and is a small but not too small area. It has 4 lifts and 25 trails. Saryn was the only one skiing while A and A went snowshoeing. They came back with many photos and big smiles.
Meanwhile I went into town to have a soirée with Betty, A’s mom. We chatted and went to lunch and had a nice stroll around the inn. After heading back up the skyway we boys just hung out until we all met up at a local pub for dinner. Then back home to rest up for another day.
It was another in a wonderful string of bluebird days. The forecast shows nothing little yellow balls for at least a week. The first week we came here it rained every day and now we haven’t hardly seen a cloud in a week.
