Chico

 1/31- Almond Tree RV Park, Chico CA

   After yesterday’s drama we needed a gentle start to today. Since we had time to kill I pulled into a tire store to see about getting our flat fixed. It turns out it was the valve stem had rotted away. The guy replaced the valve stem, checked the inside of the tire for damage, took off the spare,  replaced the tire back on the van and rehung the spare under the van all for free!! I was amazed. That was American Tire by the way. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. 

   From there we headed into Chico where we visited with Alayne’s mom before heading to the campsite. This campground is inside the city of Chico and is very convenient for us. 

   Later we went out with Craig and Aldebra to have some supper and some live music. We again have made it all the way across the country and we will be here for a couple of weeks.
